The Guanajuato Bach Festival, by the State Institute of Culture, has its fourth edition from July 6 to 10.
The musical event dedicated to the “greatest of music” will have several novelties this time: it will premiere venues such as the Palace of Powers Museum and the Temple of the Compania and will, for the first time, go out of Guanajuato capital to have a concert at the Mateo Herrera Auditorium of the Guanajuato Cultural Forum.
For the first time, it will also present an extra-musical proposal: the Bach Dance Project.
Throughout the five days of the festival, 18 works by the genius of Eisenach will be heard, divided into two orchestral programs and two of chamber music.
The opening day of the IV Guanajuato Bach Festival will occur on Wednesday the 6th and will open with the discussion “Bach: from music to movement”.
