The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, reiterates the wellness of Guanajuato as a destination of investments for the national industrial sector that lead to the economic growth of the Mexican Bajío.
This was stated by the State Executive at the Council Session of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States –CONCAMIN-, where he also called for the reintegration of the Bajio-Central-Occident Alliance.
“There is not an item in which we have not met the goal, we did it in Higher Mid Education, in poverty reduction, in the Rule of Law, and precisely a Guanajuato with the rule of law, with security and peace in the labor sector continues to be built, and with an opportunity to have a better infrastructure”, said the Governor.
After thanking CONCAMIN for the invitation to the Session, the Governor said that today it is also important to resume the Bajío-Centro-Occidente Alliance, made up of Guanajuato, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí and Jalisco, to maintain the union to strengthen the economy of the center of the country.
“If the Governors count again with this Alliance of the Great Bajio, we will be able to take advantage and benefit our inhabitants in all functional coordination in economic, security, and health matters, among other issues of great importance,” he said.
Present at this meeting were the Governor of Aguascalientes, Maria Teresa Jimenez Esquivel, and the Governor of Yucatan, Mauricio Vila Dosal, who agreed that industrial development leads to the growth of social development, with more employment opportunities towards a better quality of life and towards global trade competitiveness.
In the CONCAMIN session, the President of the Board of Directors, Jose Abugaber Andonie, presented his report on activities, together with those in charge of the work commissions of the same Board.
The businessmen discussed issues related to the course of various sectors, such as:
- Customs, labor, energy, education, health, foreign and domestic trade, the environment, among others
CONCAMIN was established in 1918 and represents different industrial sectors, economic activities of great importance for the economic development of Mexico, currently directed by the Leones businessman Jose Abugaber Andonie, as president of the Board of Directors.
