More than 70 suppliers and 15 companies participate in the Expo Forum, promoting jobs and alliances. Guanajuatense companies join the value chain of large companies

In an effort to strengthen the local economy and promote industrial growth in the region, the 1st Supplier Expo Forum of the Bajio Metropolitan Region was inaugurated.
One of the pillars of the economic policy of the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo, is to consolidate ties between local suppliers and large companies, thus generating a positive impact on the economy of people in all corners of Guanajuato.
Representing the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, the Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training, Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, highlighted the importance of investments so that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises -MSMEs- in Guanajuato can join the value chain of tractors.
“Today we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the domestic market, supporting businesses and consolidating industrial connections that will be key to sustainable development. In the People’s Government, we firmly believe that growth must start at the local level,” said the Under Secretary.
Alvarez Aranda noted the leadership and initiative of the Association of Companies of the Industrial Zone of Apaseo el Grande AC -ASEZI- for the realization of the event. Among the purchasing companies are Toyota, Rehau, Toyora Tsusho, Covemex, Boreal Metalworks, Helvex, Mitsui High Tech, among others.
This business organization is made up of the Mexican Association of Businesswomen (AMEXME), the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) and the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX).
The Supplier Forum seeks to close the gap between suppliers and buyers, facilitating a dialogue that goes beyond the simple transaction, it is about creating lasting relationships and generating prosperity between local companies and strengthening the industrial connection between companies in the Laja-Bajio area.
15 major purchasing companies and more than 70 local suppliers from different sectors participated in this event. This forum is shaping up to be a meeting point for innovation, collaboration and the creation of strategic alliances.
