The exhibition, which is held from March 11 to 14, represents a key opportunity for producers from Guanajuato to expand their markets and strengthen their international presence.

“It is an honor to address you on behalf of the Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, and the Government of the People. We meet here at this important stage with the commitment to strengthen commercial ties between Guanajuato and Japan, two regions that share a vision of development, innovation, and sustainability in the agro-food industry. COFOCE ‘s general director, Luis Rojas Avila, highlighted the importance of exploring new markets where Guanajuato products are more highly valued and have greater added value.

“This is the second time we’ve come to this fair as the Guanajuato Pavilion, bringing together various producers of beverages, spirits, processed foods, and various meat products to showcase the best of Guanajuato to the world. We’ve been doing business in this beautiful country for several years, and it has become one of our main trading partners in the food sector, diversification is very important, the United States is a very important partner for Mexico, but we’re also looking for new markets, and Japan is the ideal destination,” said Rojas Avila.
The goal is to access new markets and attract business opportunities, as the presence of various international buyers from Asia is expected, including wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, catering companies, beverage importers, and restaurants, with whom Guanajuato producers will be able to establish business relationships.
During the inauguration of the Guanajuato Pavilion, the Mexican ambassador to Japan, Melba Pría, was present and said she was happy to welcome the delegation and the group of companies to Japan.
