The Guanajuato Foreign Trade Promotion Coordinator (COFOCE) held the “Conecta B2B” workshop, a space designed for companies from all sectors to strengthen their wholesale and export sales processes through digital tools and innovative strategies.

Conecta B2B is an effort by the People’s Government to accelerate the digital transformation of business-to-business (B2B) companies by providing them with practical methodologies for prospecting clients, optimizing their websites and improving their Google rankings, as well as leveraging professional platforms like LinkedIn to generate contacts and close deals.

Luis Vargas, director of competitiveness of COFOCE, said that the process does not end there, the entrepreneurs, in addition to having obtained the necessary tools, will receive support from COFOCE, “This (Connect B2B event)” is the origin to raise awareness and from there comes the support of COFOCE, this is a support, there is a specialized advisor for each sector,” said Vargas.

During the event, specialized conferences were presented on topics such as UX/UI keys for websites that sell, LinkedIn powered by artificial intelligence for prospecting and closing deals, sales process automation, industrial SEO, and CRM management. Participating were companies from sectors such as food, beverages, footwear, manufacturing, metalworking, crafts, and services.
“Absolutely recommendable. I was surprised by the super affordable price and the value they are giving us, compared to the certification I took, I said, well, of course that has to be it. Thanks to the support and sponsorship of COFOCE and always to the entire exporting and importing community, I highly recommend all of COFOCE’s courses,” said Grace Tengo, from Valdez Woodward, Customs Agency.

With initiatives like Conecta B2B, COFOCE reaffirms its commitment to bring Guanajuato companies closer to the digital economy, creating opportunities for them to scale their business models and conquer new markets both within and outside Mexico.
