The Guanajuato Health System is rated the best in the country by users.
According to the survey made by the national company Rubrum, based in Mexico City, the Guanajuato Health System obtained the first national place of the 32 states of the Mexican Republic, with 6.14 points, followed by the Aguascalientes Health System with 5.93 and Yucatan with 5.67.
The numbers were measured through a telephone survey of men and women over 18 years of age, throughout the country, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.8, carried out between May 11 and 12, 2023.
The Guanajuato Health System has distinguished itself in recent years for not joining INSABI, recently disappeared by the Federation, and decided to maintain itself as an independent Health System.
The organism managed to guarantee medicines for children with cancer, increase their coverage with more new and equipped medical units, and increase their professional health workers.
The Guanajuato health system reports everyday:

- 14,000 detections
- 2,000 emergencies per day
- 300 surgeries per day
- 25,000 laboratory tests
Throughout the territory of Guanajuato there are about 3.5 million people who are not covered by Social Security or ISSSTE, this has allowed the Gto Health System to have coverage in the 46 municipalities to serve precisely that bulk of the population without rights.
The State Health System has received the national prize for transparency in the administration of its resources and a successful national reference program of organ donation and transplants.
