Gto Health System is working from the Leon Fair

The Guanajuato Health System actively participates in the León Fair in its 2024 edition

Daniel Diaz, the Secretary of Health of Guanajuato, said that the activities of the Gto Health System are presented at 4 stand modules in the Guanajuato Pavilion, specifically in the Poliforum Zone, 3rd. Level.

The Gto Health System modules at the Leon State Fair:

• Oral Health Module: In this space, the team of oral health professionals will be providing guidance to visitors on brushing techniques, the use of the ‘revealing plaque’, and recreational activities to promote healthy habits. A dentist will be available from Monday to Friday, from 11am to 7pm to answer questions and provide advice

• Planet Youth Module: This module focuses on offering guidance to parents on positive parenting, carrying out recreational activities with children and adolescents. A psychologist will be available every day of the week, from 10am to 9pm, to provide support and guidance to families

• Detection of Chronic-Degenerative Diseases: The module will have services for detecting chronic-degenerative diseases, addressing issues such as overweight, obesity, glucose and high blood pressure. Nutritional guidance and the application of risk factor questionnaires will be offered. The hours of operation will be Monday to Sunday, from 11am to 7pm

• Preventive Guidelines on Dengue: For the prevention of Dengue, preventive guidelines will be carried out with recreational activities aimed at schoolchildren and adults. This service will be available every day, from 10am to 9pm

Also the Mobile Friendly Services Unit is available, located at the main entrance of the Fair next to the Poliforum.

The Mobile Unit will be offering comprehensive guidance on parental planning, sexual and reproductive health in adolescents, as well as vital information on maternal health and women’s cancer prevention.

All the Guanajuatense community are invited to be part of these activities, which seek to promote health and prevent diseases in Guanajuato.
