More than 1 billion pesos in business opportunities are estimated to materialize in the second edition of ‘Guanajuato Compra Guanajuato’, in which Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises -MSMEs- will be linked with large purchasing companies and government agencies.
The current administration of State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo has been called the ‘Term of MSMEs’, for its drive to promote the local and strengthen the business environment for its development.
The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES- Ramon Alfaro Gomez explained that in relation to the previous edition the event grew in three aspects:
- It is an event to do business
- The development and launch of the ‘GTO Biz’ platform
- Advance the date to coincide with the purchase calls from state agencies
“This event is for our Guanajuatense companies, we are convinced that the best way for them to do business is: first, that they have all the information and second, that they have the entire process and support so that they can complete business”, said Alfaro Gomez.
Alfaro noted particularly the dynamics of the event as a space to do business with agendas and business appointments while developing a Labor Link to open job opportunities throughout the Guanajuato Industrial Corridor; 80 companies will participate and will offer more than 2 thousand vacancies.
The event will bring together in one place the state’s productive offer by bringing together large companies such as Oxxo, Chedraui, Walmart, among others; as well as State agencies such as:
- SFIA, SDES, SECTUR, ISSEG, SG, SDAYR, SSP, SICOM, COFOCE, IdeaGTO, Health and representatives of private industry with industrial clusters and business chambers and organizations
This event is organized by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States -CONCAMIN- Bajio chapter in coordination with the Government of the State of Guanajuato through the SDES and the Secretary of Finance, Investment and Administration -SFIA-.
