The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, inaugurated the Multitenant 1 warehouse, located in the Colinas de Leon II Park, a development of Grupo Lintel.
“Today we have come not only to witness the inauguration of this space, but also to witness the confidence of LINTEL as an investor in Guanajuato”, said Libia.
“This is what we are seeking in the Government of the People, to attract investments with a social focus that benefit the families of Guanajuato,” said the Governor.
84 million pesos were invested in this Multitenant 1 warehouse and 200 direct jobs were created during its construction. Once it is occupied in its first stage, it is expected to be able to accommodate 150 employees.
The facility has world-class infrastructure and flexibility to meet market needs. It is located in an area of 7,200 m2, in its first phase, and has the capacity to expand up to 15,300 m2 and will be part of a campus of multi-user buildings with a total rental area of 30,600 m2 for national and international companies.
“The challenges we face must be met by working as a team, and we have understood this since the first day of this Administration,” said Libia Dennise during the inauguration ceremony.
Construction of the Colinas de Leon II industrial park began in 2017 and in its first stage, the investment was 30 million dollars on an area of 160 hectares.
The industrial park began operations in 2023 and generated 300 jobs during its construction phase. It is estimated that it will have more than 5,000 employees in the first phase once it is consolidated.
To date, it already has established companies, such as Summit Polymers (automotive) and Lintel: Building for rent (Multitenant 1).
The Colinas de Leon II industrial park is owned by Grupo Lintel, an industrial construction company and developer that has more than 11 industrial parks in Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosi and Chihuahua. It has more than 300 industrial buildings and more than 2,300 hectares of developed industrial parks.
In Guanajuato, operations began in 2001 with “Las Colinas” in Silao, followed by the Guanajuato Inland Port with its 4 clusters “Santa Fe”; Colinas de Leon I; Colinas del Rincon, in San Francisco del Rincon; Colinas de Apaseo, in Apaseo el Grande; and Colinas de Leon II.
