Guanajuato presents its cultural and tourist wealth at the San Marcos National Fair, where the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, cut the inaugural ribbon of the pavilion that represents the Greatness of Mexico.
This is the 195th edition of this fair of national tradition, where for the first time there is a municipality, a state and a country as guests: Calvillo, Guanajuato and Spain, respectively.
And Guanajuato gives a taste of what its inhabitants do, as 14 producers present themselves with the most emblematic of Guanajuato, such as:
- Typical sweets, handicrafts, tequilas, mezcal, wines, leather products, footwear, cheeses, among other products
Cultural shows will also be presented, in addition to the tourist diversity of Guanajuato as a national cultural, events and business destination.
“Today we come with a very important sample: Guanajuato offers you a great culture, a great tradition, a great gastronomy. We want to show you a little bit of Guanajuato and have it in a stand and encourage you to visit it”, said the Governor.
Diego Sinhue was with the Governor of Aguascalientes, Maria Teresa Jimenez Esquivel, to whom he explained the drive of the people of Guanajuat to preserve their traditions, now with the Marca Guanajuato, which supports the quality of the products.
The Governor appreciated the distinction as a special guest to be able to present the wealth and greatness of Guanajuato in one place to live great stories.
As the song ‘Pelea de Gallos’, by Miguel Aceves Mejía was playing, the Governor of Guanajuato and the Governor of Aguascalientes, toured several pavilions where they cut the inaugural ribbon to begin the fair, to be held April 15 to May 7, where they heard in unison: Long live Guanajuato! and Long live Aguascalientes’n!
The Governor also participated in the awards ceremony and inauguration of the XLIII National Meeting of Young Art.
