In a constant and uninterrupted manner, the State of Guanajuato has participated in recent years in the International Tourism Fair –FITUR-, one of the main events of the tourism industry worldwide and leader for the Ibero-American markets.
This year, the Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato promotes the tourist offer of the 46 municipalities in Spain, 3rd. international issuing market for the Guanajuato entity. In this country, FITUR just as it happens with ITB in Berlin, and WTM in London, is one of the 3 most important tourism fairs in the world and certainly the largest in Europe- promotes leisure tourism, but with a clear desire to develop the business tourism segment.
SECTUR Guanajuato, led by Juan José Álvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism, shows on screens in crowded places in Madrid: Callao and Gran Vía, the experiences, attractions and tourist products of Guanajuato.
SECTUR holds business meetings with business partners, the tourism sector and the media, to highlight the prosperous industrial relationship of the State of Guanajuato and Spain, as well as publicize the tourist attractions and products, as well as the excellent air connectivity that allows the State to connect with important destinations from the Guanajuato International Airport.
