In his work tour of the United States of America to attract investment, the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, visited The HJ Family of Companies, one of the main manufacturers and suppliers of transformer and switchgear components for the world market.
The Governor explained the strengths and opportunities offered by Guanajuato for this business group to extend its investments in the State, since it already has a plant in Leon.
“We share with them everything we are doing in innovation, and in Mindfacture, Industry 4.0, the development and generation of renewable energies and the aspiration we have to go from assembling cars to designing new electrical products”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We are thinking about the future. We will continue working to see the opportunity for new investments”, said the Governor.
H-J is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of transformer and switchgear components for the global market.
It supplies products such as:
- Porcelain and epoxy bushings, power and distribution transformer components, circuit breakers, drain valves, fuses, aluminum and copper strips, electrical connectors, fuses, insulating oils, and many other products
This company develops its own technologies and thereby achieves notable growth in applications in the electricity sector and renewable energies.
Jay Shekelton CEO and President of The HJ Family of Companies, said that the company has more than 50 years of creating experience in the electrical industry and offers solutions to the sector in America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
“We are suppliers of products in more than forty-three countries with more than seven hundred employees worldwide; we have two plants in Saint Louis Missouri, one plant in Tianjin, China and one more in Leon, Guanajuato”, said Shekelton.
“We are proudly a family business that believes in hard work, determination and honesty; values that we share with Guanajuato”, said the CEO.
The Governor thanked the H-J family for their hospitality and shared Guanajuato’s passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Governor noted that Guanajuato is a national leader in manufacturing and works hard to be a leader in Mindfacture, for this reason he reiterated to H-J the opportunity to grow its investments in its plant in Leon, which is also a well-located city, better communicated and with a large business ecosystem.
