The Guanajuatense delegation was received by the Governor of Hiroshima, Hidehiko Yuzaki, and officials from the Prefecture.
At the meeting there were several agreements between the governments, among which are exchanges in sports, reduction of the carbon footprint, specialized medical care, investments and attention to the populations of each state that temporarily reside in Hiroshima or Guanajuato, respectively.
The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, was accompanied by the Ambassador of Mexico in Japan, Melba Pría; the Consul of Japan in León, Katsumi Itagaki; the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development, Ramón Alfaro Gómez; the General Coordinator of Social Communication, Alan Sahir Márquez Becerra, among other state officials.
