Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the Talabarteros Vehicular Bridge, which benefits more than 386 thousand inhabitants of this city.
“It is a pleasure to be inaugurating this bridge that we have built with an investment of more than 114 million pesos,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo noted that this work was finished in seven months, which speaks of the high quality of Guanajuato civil engineers, and of the skilled labor that is available in our State.
It is a work that comes to consolidate the Bicentennial Highway, which is vital for circulation and mobility in Leon. With this one it is already three bridges that we have built in this State Administration to consolidate this Fast Road in the City, noted the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo recalled that in 2020, the Tellez Cruces bridge was delivered with an investment of 298 million pesos. And in 2021, the Hilario Medina bridge was inaugurated with an investment of 327.8 million pesos.
The Governor announced that in the next few days the construction of a new bridge will begin on the road to Santa Ana del Conde, where companies such as Tejas el Águila are located, near the crossing of the train tracks.
And more projects are coming, said the Governor, such as the Bridge on the Eje Metropolitano and Bulevar La Luz; these are works that are giving more road safety to families who commute daily to their jobs and schools.
The Governor recognized the work of the Mayor of Leon, Ale Gutierrez, as she promotes more green areas for the benefit of family life, for which reason the State has decided to donate 12 more hectares to be annexed to the Metropolitan Park of Leon, in addition to the 12 hectares already owned by the Municipality.
The Governor said that the resources required to strengthen the infrastructure of the Leon Metropolitan Park will be provided.
The Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility -SICOM-, Jose Tarcisio Rodriguez Martinez, explained that this vehicular bridge has a three-span structure, on the central bodies of Jose Maria Morelos boulevard, specifically asphalt, the construction of a side lane hydraulic concrete 3.5 meters wide in each direction, return system and four lanes in the central part under the vehicular overpass and sidewalk area.
The Secretary said that the bridge Talabarteros has two bodies (directions of circulation) with a road width in the area of the bridge of 11.50 meters to accommodate 3 lanes of 3.50 meters each and delimitation on both sides of 0.50 meters, for each body (direction of circulation) and access ramps. This 480-meter-long bridge directly benefits 46,037 motorists who travel daily through the area.
