The Governor inaugurates the modernization of Insurgentes Avenue, in its section from Casimiro Liceaga to Torres Landa

“Mission accomplished, we are delivering the works that are required to improve the quality of life of more Irapuatense families”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, on a work tour where he inaugurated and supervised medical construction works and road infrastructure.
“It is a pleasure to be here, with the people of Irapuato, today we are inaugurating the Medical Specialties Tower of the General Hospital of Irapuato, it is the largest hospital infrastructure project that we built in our administration in this municipality,” said the Governor who was with Mayor, Lorena Alfaro Garcia.
This medical unit benefits 700 thousand inhabitants who do not have social security in Irapuato, Abasolo, Huanimaro, Cueramaro, Pueblo Nuevo and Penjamo, noted the Governor who said that an investment of more than 145 million pesos was made in this work, with State resources.
Rodriguez Vallejo explained that the Tower includes four levels, with a total building area of just over 3 thousand square meters. On the ground floor and on the first two levels there will be 31 specialty offices, and the administration area and auditorium will be in the upper level.
A pedestrian bridge was also built to connect with the current General Hospital.
The Medical Tower was built with the highest quality standards; and it will provide care in medical specialties such as:

In his work tour, the Governor delivered the modernization of Insurgentes Avenue, in its section from Casimiro Liceaga to Torres Landa, where 64.8 million pesos of State resources were invested by the Municipal Government.
The Governor delivered remodeling works on the temple of San Pedro Apostol, in which the crypt area was built, among other actions.
Afterwards the Gabriel Garcia Marquez Avenue was inaugurated, where 76.8 million pesos were allocated with municipal resources. With this work, more than 30 neighborhoods such as Las Liebres, El Zapote, El Milagro and Purisima del Jardin are benefitted.
Finally the Governor delivered the La Soledad Vehicular Bridge, where an investment of more than 202 million pesos was made, with State resources.
“This is a great work, it is a 1.2 kilometer long bridge with four lanes, 2 in each direction”, said the Governor.
In general there are more than 700 thousand inhabitants of the municipalities of Irapuato, Abasolo, Cueramaro, Pueblo Nuevo and Penjamo for whom this bridge will be useful and which will reduce the risk of accidents, it decreases the travel time and improves regional connectivity.
