Governor of Guanajuato supports farmers, education and infrastructure in San Felipe
More than 15.6 million pesos were delivered in various works and actions

Governor of Guanajuato on a tour of San Felipe, delivered works and actions for more than 15 million pesos for the benefit of agricultural producers and education workers, and announced the rehabilitation of the San Felipe Apostle temple, iconic building of this town.
“You are not alone in San Felipe, they have Governor Diego Sinhue for whatever they need. We are going for the countryside and the education of our children”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We are here to work as a team, we are interested in rescuing these buildings that are the heritage of the people of Guanajuato; we need to support what is most valuable to us, which are our school age girls and boys, and of course, support our farmers, where men and women work daily for a living,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor provided support to agriculture and livestock producers in this municipality, with programs from the Ministry of Agro-Food and Rural Development –SDAyR-.
200 nixtamal mills and 35 pig bellies were delivered for an investment of 1.6 million pesos.
The Governor delivered 311.7 tons of fertilizer benefiting 936 production units. For this delivery, more than 3.7 million pesos were invested, by the State, the Municipality and the beneficiaries.
With the ‘Tecno-Campo GTO’ program, 31 agricultural implements were delivered, they were:
- 10 seeders, 7 tractor sprinklers, 4 multi-ploughs, 3 bean cutters, 2 cultivators, 2 reapers, one fertilizer cone, one grader, and one portable bean thresher
- More than 2.1 million pesos were invested by the State and beneficiaries
Symbolically, 37 packages of livestock feed were delivered to people who benefited from the ‘My Productive Livestock’ program to 184 beneficiaries.
This program is of the State Government and its objective is to mitigate the effects of drought on grazing cattle.
With an investment of more than 7.7 million pesos, the Government of the State of Guanajuato promotes the education of girls and boys in San Felipe.
The Governor delivered two stages of the construction of the Ignacio Ramirez Lopez Federal Elementary School, located in the Santa Teresa subdivision; the third stage is under construction.
“I will always be supporting education. There is nothing more encouraging than visiting a school where the future of Guanajuato is being forged”, said the Governor.
In the third stage, the third classroom of the campus is being built and today the Governor supervised the construction work that will benefit 52 students from two groups, First and Second grade, who make up the first generation of this education center.
Governor Diego Sinhue announced the investment of more than 5 million 46 thousand pesos for the First Stage of the restoration and rehabilitation of the Parish of San Felipe Apostle, a construction erected in the beginning of the 17th century.
This integral intervention project will be carried out by the State Government, through the Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility –SICOM-.
In the communities of Palo Colorado and El Madrono, the Governor delivered the first stage of the construction of the potable water system and supervised the second stage.
The Mayor of San Felipe, Eduardo Maldonado Garcia, thanked the Governor for the actions to benefit the population and asked to continue working together to achieve more benefits for citizens.
“Thank you for visiting us in San Felipe, for your collaboration and hard work as governor; we are pleased for your visit and support; I tell the citizens that they are the reason for being and that motivates us to work and bring you benefits”, said the Mayor.
