On the third day of activities of the work tour of Japan, the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, confirmed an investment by the company Furukawa Electric Group for the expansion of its plant in Guanajuato that will generate more jobs.
“We have just had a work meeting with the Furukawa company that has confirmed an additional investment of ninety million pesos and the generation of seven hundred new jobs for our state”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“Furukawa is a world-class company founded more than 130 years ago in Japan; thanks to Furukawa for his trust in Guanajuato”, said the Governor.
Furukawa already resides in the Sendai Industrial Park, in Valle de Santiago, as Furukawa Automotive Systems México SA de CV where it offers more than 250 jobs for the manufacture of automotive systems and electronic equipment; today they confirmed its expansion.
