“I want to ask you to trust us, we will work hand in hand with the people of Guanajuato,” said Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to the people who participated in the Let’s Work Together program.
In this check delivery, of the 150 participants, 124 are women and 26 men. The payment received was 7,500 pesos, corresponding to 30 days of community work carried out from September 3 to October 14 of this year.
Let’s Work Together, includes activities such as weeding common areas and cleaning streets in the communities where those benefitted live, thus achieving that people recover the sense of dignity through their work and shared effort.
“This delivery is a clear example of the commitment we have with you, you worked hard and today you take this check as a fruit of your work; as we said, if you decided to participate in this program it was because you wanted to bring extra income to your homes and that speaks of the effort and we will continue working with you”, said the Governor.
The beneficiaries are residents of 10 communities in Purisima del Rincon: Francisco Villa, Guanajuatito, Santa Cecilia, Colonia del Carmen, San Antonio Casas Blancas, San Bernardo, San Jose de la Presa, Bello Horizonte, Canada de Sotos and Lomas de Obrajeros.
The objective of this program is to provide financial support with temporary employment to people 18 years and over in vulnerable conditions, in order to improve the quality of life of Guanajuato families.
