There are great possibilities for new companies to come to Guanajuato, says the Governor

The Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, announced today a new investment attraction tour, this time to the Asia, specifically to China and Japan.
“We are ready, it will be a very intense work tour in which we intend to bring several investments that once we can we will announce them, we will work until the last minute of this Government to bring more employment to Guanajuato,” said the Governor.
At the start of this Administration the figure that was intended to be reached in investment was 5 billion dollars, at the end of the fourth year of government the figure had already been exceeded and currently there are great possibilities of reaching up to 8 billion dollars .
The investment was achieved thanks to the work that has been carried out through the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development in a transversal manner with other agencies and the trust investors have in Guanajuato.
All this growth occurred in the midst of unfavorable global conditions such as the arrival of the pandemic.
Guanajuato went from being the country’s sixth economy to the number five. The tour will last approximately 15 days and will start on Monday, March 4.
“We hope to be able very soon to give you very good news for Guanajuato, we continue working to bring more and better jobs,” said the Governor.
The tour to attract investments through Asia includes not only automotive sectors, but other branches of the industry that are already developed in Guanajuato and some new projects, possible new investments and growth of already established companies.
Among the countries that have trusted in Guanajuato are:
- Austria, Germany, Canada, China, Colombia, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States, South Korea, France, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and Portugal
