The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, met with his Legal and Expanded Cabinet, whom he asked not to let their guard down and continue working as on the first day they took office in the institutions they direct.
“I have to tell you that you are a very good Cabinet with whom I have worked during these years; I must say that everyone knows what you have to do and you do it very well,” said the Governor.
At the inter-institutional meeting, budgetary issues were discussed in the direction of the State where the Secretary of Finance, Investment and Administration, Hector Salgado Banda, said that Guanajuato is on the right track and with broad improvements in public debt, and highlighted that the Superior Audit of the Federation, places Guanajuato in first place regarding accountability.
The Secretary of Government, Jesus Oviedo Herrera, mentioned several items about the celebration of the 200 years of Guanajuato as a Free and Sovereign State in various municipalities of the State, but it will be on December 20 when the city of Guanajuato will be honored to celebrate these two centuries of freedom.
On this commemoration, a postage stamp will be canceled by the Mexican Postal Service and a lottery ticket will be issued by the National Lottery.
The Secretary of Tourism, Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, talked about the proximity of the Jose Alfredo Jimenez Festival in November, and that precisely in 2023 it will be 50 years of the death of the Guanajuatense artist, so several celebration events will be held in Dolores Hidalgo and other parts of the State.
The progress of the State Development Plan 2050 was discussed, where the prospect for Guanajuato is broad and of great benefit to its current and future inhabitants.
Some recommendations were made regarding the handling of information and ways of conducting it in the face of the upcoming electoral period, among other topics of continuous improvement in the work of the State for citizens.
“We have given our best, but we will continue working for the needs of Guanajuato, because this is what the citizens ask for and it is our duty to give them good results until the last day,” said the Governor.
