Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, led the launching ceremony of the “GTO Contigo Sí” card.
A card for all
This card, which is part of the “Guanajuato Contigo Si” Strategy, is granted to the general public, and also to groups with disabilities, the education and health sectors, among others.
There will be physical and digital cards and they will be means of identification before the State Government.
Being from Guanajuato
“I am very pleased to be in this great municipality of Penjamo, to launch the Guanajuato Contigo Si Card, which offers among other: Promoting the Guanajuato identity”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“To use it will be an honor because it represents the effort of many public and private institutions so that the people of Guanajuato live better,” said the Governor.
Sense of belonging
Rodriguez Vallejo said that the card strengthens the sense of belonging, “we integrate with the community to move ahead together. And it promotes social inclusion, because it is for all, of different ages, therefore, procedures will be facilitated in neighborhoods and communities throughout the State”.

“By integrating the documents of the beneficiaries, a single file will be assembled that will facilitate subsequent procedures, since it will not be necessary to present the documents again in other procedures”, said the Governor.
It is planned that the card will facilitate access to social programs, lead to less red tape, less bureaucracy and more transparency.

And it will strengthen family spending, “because we want the support to feel in your pocket. And not only through social programs, but also with other benefits such as discounts and preferential prices that we will see later”, said the Governor.

With regard to the support of entrepreneurs, the benefits are: Preferential prices in GTO BRAND products and services, as well as in other establishments that are being added from local markets and shopping malls.

The Governor and other Officials in this event, signed the Symbolic Agreement of Sum of Wills, as a sign of their adherence and commitment to this great effort of all: Guanajuato Contigo Si.
