In seven days, the State Security Forces -FSPE- carried out more than 23 thousand seizures, one of them involving more than 20 thousand liters of hydrocarbons
Other achievements were, some 8,000 inspections, 3,000 doses of suspected drugs seized and 67 arrests

The Secretary of Security and Peace of the State of Guanajuato closes the last week of the year with positive results that reflect the commitment to the protection of families, the result of coordinated work by the institutions that make up the Operational Coordination Strategy of the New Anti-Crime Intelligence Force -CONFIA-.
Between December 23 and 29, the General Commission of State Forces, in coordination with the institutions of the Undersecretary of Security, deployed 12 operations in the 46 municipalities that make up the 10 regions of the State.
These include Operation Blindaje Leon, which covered municipalities such as Silao, Celaya, Salamanca, San Francisco del Rincon, Jerecuaro, Acambaro and San Miguel de Allende, distributed across regions X, IX, IV, VII, V and II. This deployment included patrols in urban and rural areas, with a focus on preventing and deterring criminal activities.
Another operation was carried out on highway sections, where patrols were carried out along the industrial corridor and various state roads in the 10 regions of the State.
There was the operation in shops, squares and tourist areas, carried out in Leon, Salamanca, and the Magical Towns of Guanajuato, security was reinforced in areas with high concentrations of people, especially during peak seasons, in order to provide peace and calm to citizens and visitors.
Another action was the mobile patrol, deployed in the 46 municipalities of the State, to provide continuous coverage in all regions, with mobile operations that prevent the generation of criminal patterns. Additionally, the search for people was extended to the 46 municipalities and the 10 regions of the State to locate those who are missing.
The actions implemented resulted in a total of 7,958 inspections in Guanajuato. This operational deployment also allowed for 67 deployments, of which 50 were regional and 17 were related to specialized divisions.
One notable aspect is the increase in seizures, which in this period totaled 23,932, and greatly exceeded the 7,864 registered the previous week.
Among the most relevant seizures are:
- 20,200 liters of hydrocarbon of illicit origin recovered in a single arrest
- More than 1,811 doses of a substance with characteristics of crystal
- 1,778 doses of possible marijuana
- 2 of presumed cocaine
The actions implemented by the Public Security Forces -FSPE- resulted in:
- Arrest of 56 people
- Seizure of 7 vehicles
- 8 motorcycles
- 4 tractor-trailers
- One dry container
Items recovered:
- 8 electronic devices, 6 handguns, 1 long gun, 46 live cartridges and 4 magazines were recovered, in strict compliance with the operation protocols
As part of the extraordinary operation, three operations were deployed to reinforce security during the holiday and festive period.
The Guadalupe-Reyes Operation began in the 46 municipalities and 10 regions, with the participation of all FSPE divisions to provide comprehensive coverage.
In an effort to protect families and combat crimes that affect commercial activity and road safety, the Undersecretary of Operational Intelligence worked during the last week on the integration of 51 investigation files related to federal auto transport theft, hydrocarbon theft and organized crime, among other.
The FSPE prioritized closeness to the people through direct support and care actions. During the last week, various social aids were provided, which included everything from accompanying the elderly to support in case of mechanical failures of vehicles and assistance in medical emergencies in municipalities such as Leon, Silao, Guanajuato, Valle de Santiago and San Felipe.
In San Miguel de Allende, Region II, State police responded immediately to a call from passersby to help a tourist who suffered a seizure.
In different regions of the State, police officers also supported motorists with mechanical problems, they supported merchants and accompanied elderly people to protect their safety.
State Security Officials said that with these actions, the CONFIA Strategy reaffirms the commitment of the People’s Government and the Secretary of Security and Peace to build peaceful environments for all.
