As part of the First Ibero-American Voices for Peace Meeting, the Social Communication Coordinator of Guanajuato, Alan Sahir Marquez Becerra, inaugurated the Forum A Thousand Young for Peace.
On behalf of the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the Communications Coordinator inaugurated this event dedicated to young Guanajuatenses, where he urged those present to become agents of peace, and that consistency be their lifeline.
He said that young people are the present in the world and it is not only about recognizing youth as the future, but also emphasizing that they have a responsibility to be good people and agents of change.
For this reason, he said that personal congruence is essential towards a better course and way of life for youth, since it is about making sense between what is said and what is done.
He said that from home and from the institutions, it is important to transmit to the new generations what is required for a better quality of life based on responsibilities, and that the construction of peace comes from the consistency of how we are and how we transmit what we think through attitudes.
“It is the responsibility of young people, of governments, of families, of education institutions, but today we are with you transmitting that message; I invite you to do this exercise all the time, to see how others make me feel, but also analyze how I make other people feel”, he said.

After the inauguration, the panel Reconstruction of the Social Fabric: Life of Peace began, with the participation of Gonzalo Caceres, Co-founder of DWTV and AntonioNavarro, Director of JuventudEsGto, as well as Ismael Faisal, as moderator.
Subsequently, the content creator, Roberto Martinez, offered a conference where he urged the young people present to look for their skills to use them as tools for life and to achieve their dreams.
“Achieving the goals is possible from the ‘micro peace’ found within, if there is no inner peace, there is no peace at all, because inner peace generates an atmosphere of tranquility”, said Martinez.
“While with ‘macro peace’, structural and material conditions are generated so that people have the possibility of pursuing their dreams”, said Roberto.
