With great emotion and pride, the graduation of the First Generation of Prepa Pro Students was celebrated, it was an event that marked an unforgettable moment in the lives of 55 young students from San Felipe, San Diego de la Union and Dolores Hidalgo.
The celebration was held at the Conalep San Felipe facilities and the perseverance and effort of these students was highlighted after they successfully completed their high school education.
Alondra Munoz Sanchez, who represented her fellow graduates, shared her inspiring story in an emotional speech; “There are many feelings that went through me during this journey, but I am convinced that it is one more achievement in my personal development,” said Alondra with her voice filled with emotion.
The graduate shared that she discovered Prepa Pro through the social networks of the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato -SEG-, and decided that it was an opportunity that she could not let go. “I deeply thank my family for their unconditional support. Prepa Pro allowed me to meet 10 great people who enriched my life with their knowledge and friendship,” said Alondra.
The General Director of Higher Secondary Education, Jose de la Luz Martinez Romero, praised the effort and dedication of the graduates. “It is a great pride and happiness for us to see the result of this project. It is a highly collaborative effort to ensure that everyone has access to continue their studies and it is inspiring to see how many parents, first interested in their children finishing high school, then became interested in showing their families that it is never too late to fulfill dreams”, said Martinez Romero, underlining the importance of teamwork and community support.
A special recognition was given to three students who stood out for their effort and dedication in obtaining the best averages of the generation. Maria Paola Medina Medellin, Elizabeth Guadalupe Orta Lozoya, and Alondra Munoz Sanchez. These young women not only managed to excel in their studies, but also became role models for their peers and the entire community.
Prepa Pro is an innovative education program that is changing the lives of thousands of young people and adults in Guanajuato. It arose from the need to provide coverage, monitoring and support to high school students in Guanajuato. With 6,442 students enrolled in semi-flexible schedules, Prepa Pro is present in 28 municipalities, including, among others, Leon, Irapuato, Celaya, Dolores Hidalgo, Salamanca and Acambaro.
The graduation of the First Generation of Prepa Pro, in the northern region of Guanajuato, not only celebrates the academic achievement of these students, but it also symbolizes a new beginning full of hope and opportunities. This ceremony is a testimony of the power of education and how, with effort and dedication, it is possible to transform lives and build a better future for all.
