The “Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Fund” is forging collaborative ties with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AMEXME) of the Leon chapter and other locations, to work together with the People’s Government and boost the local and regional economy.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, Director General of the agency, said at the end of the monthly meeting with this sector that the State is interested in having more collaborative arms and networks.

“Today we announced that we will be working closely with all of them and that we will periodically open a window here to process and facilitate this financing so that all AMEXME members can access it.”
On the other hand, she said that so far, the nine credit options offered by the “People’s Financier” have had a positive response from the general public, as in these first days of operation, meetings were held with various groups that make up the “economic engine” of Guanajuato.

Padilla Hernandez urged everyone to remember that this social and inclusive project, led by Governor Libia Dennise, includes 10,000 pesos in funding, aimed at the women most in need to start or grow their small businesses.
“Many women have come forward, and that’s who we want to empower, and for them we have the “Tu Puedes” Financing program so you can take that first step toward starting your business,” said Padilla.

The Official explained that this loan is intended for the purchase of merchandise, supplies, raw materials, machinery, furniture for your business, and operating expenses. It has a fixed annual interest rate of 6.75 percent and a repayment period of up to 24 biweekly installments, with a two-biweekly grace period.
Finally, the head of the Finance and Support Agency reported that for 2025, the plan is to approve 2,705 loans, equivalent to 375.5 million pesos, and she announced that the first grants could begin this month, once the governing board meets.
