The NHS in Sussex has reintroduced mandatory mask-wearing in response to rising Covid-19 rates, reported BBC. Patients and staff across multiple trusts in the county must now wear masks in hospitals and GP practices. NHS bosses said the decision was “in order to protect everybody from rising rates of Covid-19 infection”, reported BBC.
The latest fugures show an estimated 2.7 million people, or one in 25, has the virus. About one in 30 had the virus in the previous week. Seven Sussex trusts are involved in reintroducing compulsory masks. Other trusts elsewhere in the UK have already reintroduced masks for staff, patients, and visitors including trusts in Brtistol and Cornwall, as reported by BBC.
Watch against contagion
In the last 24 hours 315 new cases of contagion and 2 deaths caused by Covid 19 were reported by State and Health Authorities. Contagion is being watched in Guanajuato and cases of contagion reported are over 300 in the last 24 hours, while there were 2 deaths reported. Authorities maintain the color of activities in the GREEN easing restrictions on activities, both leisure and work.
State Health Authorities insist that Guanajuato should maintain health protection.
