The People’s Government works to improve the lives of Guanajuatenses with self-employment projects
The Secretary of Economy provides in-kind support to 28 entrepreneurial families from 4 municipalities

With an investment of more than 960 thousand pesos, 28 entrepreneurial families from Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo CIN, Doctor Mora and San Felipe, received furniture, equipment and tools from the “Mi Negocio Pa’ delante” program.
The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo, improves the quality of life of people with an entrepreneurial spirit, women heads of household, people with disabilities, senior citizens, young people and vulnerable groups with these programs so that they can strengthen or start a business on their own.
Undersecretary of Employment and Vocational Training, Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, reflected on the positive impact and importance of family businesses in the development of society and jobs.
“The motto of the Government of the People is very clear: we are building a more just and equitable Guanajuato where no one is left behind. Each tool delivered symbolizes more than just help: it represents trust in human potential to overcome barriers and build a better future,” said Alvarez Aranda.
Support was provided to 10 men and 18 women to generate prosperity in key sectors such as food, handicrafts, metal-mechanics, commerce and services, construction, as well as leather and footwear. These activities represent a fundamental part of the economy of Guanajuato.
Through this scheme, beneficiaries now have tools and equipment that will allow them to expand their market reach and improve the quality of their products or services.
The program, which operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of the New Beginning and the State System for the Integral Development of the Family -DIF-, is designed to provide equipment to entrepreneurs and promote decent and sustainable jobs in all municipalities of Guanajuato.
The Government of the People, through the Ministry of Economy, reaffirms its commitment to opening opportunities for those who wish to build their future through self-employment and the creation of solid businesses with “Mi Negocio pa’ delante” (My Business Forward).
