Juan Mauro Gonzalez Martinez, head of the Secretary of Security and Peace of Guanajuato, urged the State’s police officers to conduct themselves “with integrity, honesty and without corruption” to achieve the goal of protecting and serving Guanajuatenses.
Gonzalez said that there will be changes and challenges “established for the common good, with the necessary protection so that no one is left behind. If you have already earned the recognition and affection of the people, we are going for more. The goal is for every person from Guanajuato to see in you the symbol of trust and integrity that is so demanded in Mexico today”.
In an event held at the facilities of the Public Security Forces of the State of Guanajuato, the Official said that as Secretary of Security and Peace he will always listen to the needs of the police and will make the necessary efforts to create an environment of trust, with open and permanent dialogue, because “here we are all police officers regardless of whether our training was at the Federal, State or even Municipal level”.
Gonzalez said that we have a governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, who “is aware of our work every day and gives us her full support, but she will also hold us accountable for our actions; we must always keep that in mind.”
The Secretary of Security and Peace stated that all exemplary actions that have an impact on society will be recognized through incentives, but also with decorations that make the families of police officers feel proud.
“I will not allow the decisions or greed of someone who usurps the uniform to tarnish my name or that of my family. This is the moment in which they must decide if this is their place and if they accept the conditions, whose only objective is for all of us to return home with our heads held high”, said the Secretary.
“Fellow members of the Public Security Forces, it is a privilege to be part of this institution of brave men and women, who, due to their work and sacrifice, deserve all the recognition of those of us who are in charge and of society as a whole”, said Gonzalez Martinez.
