With the signing of the collaboration agreement, the services of the Institute of Literacy and Basic Education for Adults –INAEBA- will be promoted , with the workers of the more than 150 national and international companies affiliated to the Union of Workers of the Automotive Industry and Auto Parts -STIAA-.
The goal is to promote the education culture in each of the collaborators affiliated to the STIAA so that they reassess the scope of education in a continuous improvement of their quality of life.
The general director of INAEBA, Jose Jesus Correa Ramirez , agreed with the union leaders on the importance of keeping the workers trained and it is important to start with basic education.
“We work with the most delicate matter in society, which is people, which is ourselves. I wish this task that we do could transcend, that there would be more union leaders, that there would be more educated people because although, I insist, education does not ensure success, it does help us so that people who know how to read, who know how to write, perceive more the moment of opportunities and not only see them go by, like a train without getting on it”, said Correa Ramírez .
Victor Manuel Jasso Gonzalez, general secretary of the Union of Workers of the Automotive Industry and Auto Parts applauded the signing of the agreement, noting that some of his members had requested support to finish their basic education.
“Our colleagues in the automotive industry are very eager to continue studying, they have asked us for the support of the union. We have combined very well with the institute to have this approach, it is the opportunity that we have to give them this oppoirtunity that our colleagues require of us”, said Jasso González.
STIAA will help member companies, so that people who complete their basic education with the institute are considered for job opportunities.
INAEBA ‘s commitment is to train people who will serve as academic advisors in study circles, deliver official certificates to beneficiaries who complete their basic education, and provide services free of charge.
The STIAA will distribute information so that workers affiliated to the union and their direct relatives, know them and those who require them take advantage of this program.
