The education and productive sectors of Guanajuato get together to establish agreements that consolidate the dual formation model in Guanajuato.
The Secretary of Education of Guanajuato, SEG, took part in the 2nd. Session of the Business Council for Dual Training of Guanajuato, working to establish strategies and follow up on actions to strengthen the State’s dual university system and contribute to the education and employability of young Guanajuatenses, while improving the competitiveness of companies.
During the work sessions participants discussed the topics:

- Academic
During his speech, Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education, talked about the need to generate actions that include all education institutions to achieve good coordination. In this sense, he emphasized that in order to mediate the interaction between the actors of the dual model (student-company), it is necessary to visualize exercises linked to immediacy and results.
Finally, the state head made a call to think different, to establish a systemic and pragmatic approach so that our universities, according to their conditions and environment, can improve policies and adapt the dual training model to their needs.
The president of Coparmex Metropolitan Area of Leon, highlighted the Inclusive Development Model of Coparmex which promotes 20 points for the construction of a better Country and among there are several that are linked to Dual Training, such as generating the right environment to provide quality education, as well as the promotion of sustainable economic policies that promote savings, productivity, social and economic development of all members of the company.
Nancy Huerta announced that Dual Education is already established in the General Law of Higher Education as an educational modality of the higher type; an advance in the establishment of the institutional regulatory framework that provides clarity and certainty.
At the end of the session, agreements and commitments were established by the members of each group, they agreed that students should be in the center of the model; reinforce flexibility, as well as integrate a network of universities that promote Dual Education among students in order to bring them closer to the model and discover the advantages of joining work at an early stage of their educational process.
