The Government of Guanajuato, through the Secretary of Economy and in collaboration with the University of Guanajuato, held a Labor Link that brought together 58 companies with more than 890 vacancies in sectors such as automotive, services, manufacturing, among other.

Under the leadership of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to opening the doors of economic and social development to youth, creating opportunities that foster their professional growth and strengthen the future of Guanajuato.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that these events are an effective bridge between companies and job seekers. “Today, more than just looking for a job, they are paving their way for the future. These Job Links are a bridge that connects young talent with opportunities in the productive sector, so that every step they take brings them closer to the job they deserve,” said Villasenor.

Villasenor Aguilar added that we also have the Coneecta digital platform -coneecta.guanajuato.gob.mx– available, which brings together more than 1,900 registered companies and more than 17,500 job opportunities, accessible at all times.

Participating companies include:

  • Asahi, Ashimori, Bachoco, BioPappel, BorgWarner, Cultural Care, Nestle, Nidec, Liverpool, Chedraui, Grupo Kurin, Price Shoes, Recicla.Lo, Hospital Mac, and the Secretary of Citizen Security, among other

According to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), more than one million people in Guanajuato currently have formal job. Between 2022 and 2024, the percentage of people without social security decreased from 50.2% to 46.0%, meaning that more than 239,000 people gained access to this right, placing the State in second place nationwide for the greatest progress in this area.

Officials of the People’s Government reaffirmed their commitment to continue creating the necessary conditions for the private sector to generate and maintain formal jobs that contribute to improve the quality of life of Guanajuatenses, thus promoting a future with greater opportunities and well-being for all.
