Economy of San Jose Iturbide is promoted

Tu Puedes Guanajuato arrives in San Jose Iturbide to boost the municipality promoting its strength of manufacturing

Located in the northeast region of Guanajuato, this municipality is consolidating its position as an economic hub thanks to its strong industrial focus.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, General Director of the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Center, said during the opening of the direct assistance module in San Jose Iturbide that manufacturing currently represents more than 50% of the municipality’s economic activity, which has allowed for the opening of various manufacturing companies that generate employment.

“With this opening, we have implemented the vision of our Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to bring the services and programs we offer through the state government to all municipalities,” said Ivon Padilla.

“With this financial institution, we have the opportunity to reach all those people who have a business or want to boost their existing one and who are sometimes limited in obtaining financing, either due to the requirements or the high interest rates charged by other financial institutions,” said the Official

Ivon said that this drive is complemented by sectors such as commerce, services, and agriculture, providing balance and resilience to local development and giving these sectors dynamism, which is reflected in a more articulated regional economy, where agricultural production, small commercial units, and service providers coexist with a growing industrial infrastructure.

The mayor of San Jose Iturbide, Edgar Manuel Montes de la Vega, said that one of the factors that will contribute to this economic expansion is the implementation of accessible financing programs, such as those offered by Te Puedes Guanajuato, which are specifically aimed at entrepreneurs and small businesses.

“It’s very important for us that all the projects, all the programs, and all the intentions our young people have are funded. Today, we need those dreams, those desires, that urge to embark on a new project to have a financial foundation,” said Montes.

The mayor reported that residents of Iturbide can go to Plaza Principal No. 8, in the downtown area and that it will serve 148 communities.

The offices of the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Agency are located in the municipalities of:

• Leon, Celaya, Dolores Hidalgo, Irapuato, Moroleon, San Jose Iturbide, and Silao in Puerto Interior
