“A strong economy is synonymous with collaboration and openness, of united work, headed in the same direction; for this reason, having a healthy and competitive economy is a task that must call on everyone, it must be a priority to work together”, said the Secretary of Government, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
Garcia Munoz Ledo headed, on behalf of the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the opening ceremony of the Forum of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives -IMEF- 2022 “Business Challenges, a New Economic Reality”.
“The pandemic and the economic crisis generated by Covid 19”, highlighted Garcia Munoz Ledo, “have had unprecedented effects in Guanajuato, Mexico and the world; and facing these scenarios, companies, governments and society in general, assumed new operating schemes, in order to address the loss of jobs and the urgent health needs of the population”.
Indicators add to this, according to IMEF, that at the end of 2022 there will be an inflation of 8.10 percent and a fall of 1.9 percent, in the real growth of the Gross Domestic Product.
“I am convinced, as you are, that there are roads, that there are opportunities to get ahead and I believe that a forum like this, in which professionals from the area of finance, businessmen and government authorities participate, is the ideal place to discuss and analyze in depth the panorama we face, but above all to make the right decisions in the private and government spheres”

“We need to get out of this economic crisis together and find solutions that allow us to continue advancing in the economic reactivation, in the generation of jobs and in the improvement of public services,” noted Garcia Munoz Ledo.
The Secretary of Government insisted in the recognition of the State Administration for the work done by IMEF, an institute that has always been seen as a point of reference, in the analysis of the economic and financial outlook.
“On behalf of the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, we wish that proposals and programs arise from this forum, which add to the main objective that we all share: to achieve better economic and social conditions for all the families of Guanajuato and Mexico”, said Garcia Munoz Ledo.
