Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, visited Xichú as part of his tour in the northeast of Guanajuato, where he began the construction of a Community Hospital, supervised the construction of roads and delivered works that improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the communities.
“We are going to continue betting on Xichu, there is a lot to do and you are not alone, you can count on the support of the Governor, of the entire team and we are going to continue working hard with all of you,” said the State Governor.
Diego Sinhue, officially started the construction work of the Health Center with Extended Services –CESSA-.
“Today we are here to witness the startup of the Xichu Community Hospital, which was a commitment we made and there is the amount, it is 68.8 million pesos and we still need to buy the equipment and that costs 11 million pesos, because you should not expect that we are going to bring used stretchers or used X-rays, no. Everything is new from the package, it will be 11 million pesos”, explained Diego Sinhue.
- This hospital is expected to be completed in November 2023 for the direct benefit of 9,653 people daily, due to its regional coverage.
The works are carried out in an area of 1,712 square meters and will consist of two floors for internal and external consultation.
As part of his tour the Governor supervised the construction work on the Palomas-La Noria road.
This road in construction will benefit 949 inhabitants of the region. Work began last March and is expected to be completed in October this year. To date, the physical progress of the works is 16.4 percent.
