Denso is expanding in Silao

The cornerstone of the third expansion of the Denso Plant in Silao will have a starting investment of 9.8 million dollars

With this expansion and the plant in Irapuato they create more than 2,500 jobs in Guanajuato

The automotive manufacture grows in Guanajuato and the Governor was present at the starting ceremony of the third expansion of Denso Mexico, at its Plant in Silao.

Satisfied customers

As the cornerstone was set Denso starts the construction of its new premises with an investment of $9.8 million dollars. The new area will be used as shipping for equipment to satisfy the needs of its customers. This way, the investment and creation of jobs by Denso increases in Guanajuato.

“I want to thank Denso Mexico for trusting in our State and deciding to increase their investment projects, this is a relation of collaboration and friendship that started seven years ago”, said Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.

Sharing the passion

“In Guanajuato we share with Denso a passion for innovation, we want to insit on this with the actors of the ecosystem in Guanajuato, promote the private investment in projects of innovation and scientific and techonogical development, among many other initiatives. I am sure that this road of collaboration, will go ahead and we will find more reasons to work unitwed”, said the Governor.

Denso came to grow

In Guanajuato Denso found development and opportunities, said the Governor, that is why it was a good decision to come to El Bajio, and they prove it by growing in Silao and Irapuato.

Directors at Denso thanked the State Government for its support to go on with investments that create jobs and push the economy of Guanajuato.

Denso

Denso is a Japanese automotive company with 4 plants in Mexico, two of them are in Guanajuato, the first one since 2014; they are supplying leaders of automotive technological systems and components for companies like Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Nissan and Volkswagen.

At its plant in Silao Denso produces radiators, alternators, deposits and spraying systems of winshield washer liquid, separators of cold and hot air in the air conditioning systems of cars.

Japan is the first investing associate of Guanajuato with 117 companies working in Guanajuato, together they add up to more than 6,116 million dollars invested and 43,981 jobs.
