The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, chaired the ceremony commemorating the 20 Years of Transparency of the Executive Branch of the State of Guanajuato, where he recounted the actions and achievements in the areas of access to information, protection of personal data and transparency.
“Here in Guanajuato, we are convinced that transparency, access to information and the protection of personal data are essential for citizens. For this reason, transparency is a cross-cutting action in our public policies”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“The work of the Executive Branch Transparency Unit, better known as UTAPE, has been fundamental in promoting and consolidating this culture,” said the Governor.
Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo recognized and hailed the efforts of the Executive Branch’s Departments, Entities and Support Units for their commitment to the citizens of Guanajuato.
Pablo González, Head of the Executive Branch’s Transparency and Archives Unit, presented the UTAPE results report.
The PDP (Personal Data Protection Administrative Unit) Distinction was also awarded to Agencies, Entities and Support Units of the Executive Branch that trained 100% of their staff in Personal Data Protection during 2024.
For Proactive Transparency Practices, agencies were recognized for generating initiatives to disseminate knowledge among citizens to better access government procedures and services. This recognition was received by SFIA, SEGOB and ISAPEG.
