According to the hydrometeorological report of the Secretary of Water and Environment, during July, an average of 129.1 millimeters or liters per square meter of rain was recorded in Guanajuato.

The rainfall forecast for July was 118.8 millimeters or liters per square meter, with a historical average of 134.9 millimeters, and the cumulative rainfall for 2025 to date is 396.8 millimeters.

Now main dams of Guanajuato have an average storage percentage of 80 percent, registering 1,396.9 million cubic meters.
Authorities call civilians to heed preventive recommendations such as:
- Avoid crossing flooded streets, drive with caution and lights on, and place garbage in its proper place, not on the streets and report any emergencies

Throwing garbage on the streets, besides the environmental damage, can cause sewer blockages, resulting in flooding or potential flooding that could cause significant damage in several areas of the municipalities.
