According to the hydro-meteorological report of the Secretary of Water and Environment, during August and to this date, an average of 135.2 millimeters or liters per square meter of rain has been recorded in Guanajuato.
The cumulative rainfall throughout 2025 to date has been 532 millimeters or liters per square meter, compared to 499 millimeters on the last day of this month last year.
The State’s main dams have:
- An average storage capacity of 85.4 percent
- Recording 1,504.4 million cubic meters
- Compared to 1,367.1 million cubic meters at the same time last year
- Corresponding to 77.6 percent
