CONCAMIN celebrates 25 years in Guanajuato

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the 25 Years of CONCAMIN Bajio Forum, with which the Confederation of Industrial Chambers celebrates its presence in Guanajuato for twenty five years.

“Today we come to congratulate the effort, dedication, talent and vision of our Guanajuato businessmen, because Guanajuato is what it is, in part, because of our businessmen”, said the Governor.

Social participation, he added, is the secret to moving forward in the State, which is why this effort by CONCAMIN bears fruit for everyone.

“Today, the Guanajuato industrial sector occupies an indisputable leadership at the national level, both for its results and for the people who have headed business organizations in the country. Today Guanajuato is the fifth economy in Mexico”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

Strengthening institutions, said the Governor, is essential to promote societies and organizations, this is why it is important to safeguard their structure and functioning, to solve the needs.

He said that institutions like CONCAMIN Bajio assumed a responsibility with a vision for the future and with the passage of time, it is fulfilled.

“Thanks to CONCAMIN Bajio because they are allies of the Guanajuatenses, you are witnesses that in Guanajuato we know how to work as a team,” said the Governor.

CONCAMIN was established in 1918 and today is the highest representative body for different industrial sectors and economic activities of high importance for the economic development of Mexico.

During 25 years of presence of the Bajio Coordination, businessmen, the State Government and civil society have collaborated to strengthen hundreds of companies affiliated with the Chambers and Associations adhered to CONCAMIN.

As part of the event, the Governor presented the talk ‘Guanajuato Industrial Power’, where he explained the industrial progress of the State in the last 20 years.

“Our traditional industries have been maintained and strengthened, such as leather-footwear and textiles, but new ones have also arrived, such as the automotive and aerospace industries”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

“Today Guanajuato has a diversified, dynamic and highly competitive economy, which has conquered national and international markets; we are a State that has unique conditions to continue being a leader”, said the Governor.

“Today in Guanajuato there is a strategic race with companies, locating opportunities for themselves, for businessmen and workers, because in Guanajuato there is world-class talent”, said the Governor.
