The Delegate of the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato in Leon, Alfredo Ling Altamirano, called on the Education community to preserve the culture of values that strengthen superior and universal goods, during his participation in the celebration of the Flag Day.
The event was headed by Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez Campos, and was also represented by the State Congress and the union sections of the SNTE, as well as students, parents, teachers, and municipal officials.
In his speech, the regional delegate of the SEG said that universal values, such as life, the value of truth, justice and education with freedom, are the patrimony of humanity, “…and are twinned leaving aside the differences, the universal values are coincidences to improve our Country, State, and communities to provide the new generations with a better education”.
The ceremony of the Flag Day in the Leon Regional Delegation of Education was commemorated with a civic event with the participation of the workforce.
In his message to employees and officials, the regional delegate, Alfredo Ling Altamirano, explained that the “commitment to the homeland and the State of Guanajuato symbolizes the Mexican Flag as a banner of cultural and education values.”
Ling said that the cultural battle that takes place in schools allows us to preserve patriotic symbols such as the flag and the national anthem. “Culture and education is universal, in all nations and peoples the patriotic banner is proudly carried and makes us feel our identity,” he said.
