The second edition of the Diploma in Nearshoring brings experts in the topic so that businesswomen, businessmen, and entrepreneurs take their companies to a more competitive level

The second edition of the Diploma in Nearshoring presented by COFOCE has started, here, informed the organism, opinion leaders, businesswomen, businessmen, and entrepreneurs will be able to acquire the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to understand and successfully adopt strategies that will take companies to a more competitive level in order to join the “nearshoring” trend, which consists of having suppliers close to the market they are targeting.
“We know that Nearshoring cannot wait, which is why we launched the second generation with you, and we are sure that here you will not only be able to learn about the most relevant and important aspects of this economic phenomenon but also how we can move forward, understand and be protagonists,” said Luis Rojas Avila, General Director of COFOCE.
The diploma consists of 8 modules and will come to its end on December 5, during this Diploma, students will have a business agenda from November 11 to 14 in Chicago, which after New York is the second most important financial center in the United States. With this, entrepreneurs will not only learn but will also experience Nearshoring.
The program is designed to provide participants the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to successfully understand, adopt and manage nearshoring strategies in the business environment.
Among the topics to be discussed in the modules, the Diploma includes those related to nearshoring, the impact of the USMCA block on the international scene, the trade of the Asian Giant, through the current geopolitical spectrum, Euroshoring and Asiashoring; the window of opportunity with the old continent of the region with the greatest commercial dynamism, energy transition, green and sustainable investments, among other topics of interest to the sector.
In addition to businessmen and women entrepreneurs, the Secretary of Economy Cristina Villasenor was present in the launch of the diploma course and shared a few words at the opening.
“It is essential to design a specialized strategy that does not focus solely in the automotive sector. My goal is to cover all the sectors we have, including the most vulnerable ones, such as agriculture, the artisan and textile sector. The intention is to listen, learn and, above all, apply what has been learned in a targeted and personalized strategy,” said Cristina Villasenor, Secretary of Economy of the Government of Guanajuato.
The Diploma is currently the only one of its kind in Mexico and has the participation of more than 30 students who were enthusiastic about being part of this second edition.
“Without a doubt, the topic of Nearshoring is a strategic issue that we as entrepreneurs have to know and recognize the conditions of the free trade agreement, which for us who are in the information technology sector, is very important, as is understanding the opportunities, particularly in my company we are looking for opportunities in the United States market, and it is very important to know and have more tools to be able to generate valuable relationships”, said Selene Diez, CEO of Forte Innovation Consulting.
The course will be held Wednesday and Thursday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
