COFOCE with CEAG, Food Cluster and No Border MX, held the first Agroindustries business meeting in the State of Guanajuato

IJn order to show the exportable offer of Guanajuato, the first agro-business meeting began this August 1 and 2 at the Hotsson Leon hotel.
COFOCE, and the State Agro-Food Council, No Border MX and the Food Cluster, promotes the event where Guanajuato producers met with international buyers.
“I thank the buyers very much for coming here and trusting in Guanajuato and in the Mexican products, I hope you can find the products you are looking for, we are sure that we are working in the food sector supply chain, feel safe that besides this part of entrepreneurship that they have, there is a government, there are institutions that will support you, that will give you follow-up and continuity to meet your expectations,” said the director of the Internationalization area of COFOCE, Asael Colunga.
This meeting brought together more than 100 people, including producers and buyers from countries such as; United States, Colombia, Canada, Panama and Peru.
“The goal is to make a match, where we bring buyers from other countries and that they know the ways of Guanajuatense products, Guanajuato is very rich in Agro, that they come to our field, that they know that you are here with us, that they know the advantages they have are that they can visit the farms, the ranches, the packing plants, the safety processes,” said Rafael Arrieta Garcia, organizer of the event and creator of No Border MX.
The agrobusiness meeting had business meetings on the second day where international buyers showed interest in Guanajuatense products.
