In order to bring more of the footwear and leather industry of Guanajuato to the world, a collaboration agreement was signed between COFOCE and the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato –CICEG- on the third day of SAPICA.
The purpose of the agreement is to carry out together a promotional plan, to assist in export projects, strengthen and promote the internationalization of the sector through a new digital platform such as Shoes From Mexico.
“More than eradicating poverty, we need to generate wealth, we need models that generate wealth, we need to go out and compete with added value, for differentiation and of course Mexican Shoes, Shoes From Mexico have been very important elements in this process, today we celebrate this agreement, the synergy that we have created throughout these decades, CICEG and COFOCE, has always been good, we no longer only sign agreements or events together, but we are already creating a symbiosis in projects, in trade missions, in the issue of digitization and everything in favor of continuing to promote this beautiful industry that is representative of our State and that has taken Mexico to such a high level”, said Luis Rojas Avila, General Director of COFOCE.
Mauricio Bataglia, president of CICEG, said that this agreement will bring several benefits to businessmen and members of the chambers, because with this they will obtain economic support for footwear companies, while members of the chambers will have discounts and special prices on the services that COFOCE offers, which translates into a better development of the exportable supply of the State.
Shoes From Mexico, through a new stage of this program, seeks that all exporting and non-exporting companies join the platform, with the objective of disseminating the brand, attracting export projects and being able to obtain the services that COFOCE and CICEG offer.
“We invite all brands, whether they export or not, to get on the Shoes From Mexico platform, with great objectives:
- First: spread your brand globally
- Second: attract export projects
