Work, solidarity and the spirit to be better are virtues that identify Guanajuatenses in their participation as citizens, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo at the ceremony where AMEXME the Association of Mexican Entrepreneur Women Chapter Leon changed its board of directors.
Working for women
For 25 years now AMEXME has been noted for promoting the entrepreneurial development, the empowerment of women and the social commitment of its members: it also represents the interests of its members, women entrepreneurs who hold posts as representatives of citizens.
“The solidarity of women entrepreneurs has been expressed through the creation of jobs and their participation in the attention of the needs of people and communities”, said the Governor.
Creators of jobs
AMEXME Chapter Leon has 81 members. They own more than 100 companies in different economic sectors and together they create thousands of jobs.
The Governor was a witness to the swearing in ceremony of Rocio Ovalle Rios as the President of AMEXME Chapter Leon, for the period 2021-2024.
Prestige and influence
“With their work and their participation, AMEXME has won a prestige and influence in the political, entrepreneurial and community life, of which we all are so proud. Today we are part of this ceremony of renovation of its institutional life”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Against the pandemic
The Governor recognized the work of Martha Leticia Venegas Ramirez and her team at the Directors Council during her term from 2018 to 2021, and he noted the entrepreneurial expertise to move ahead in the worst of the pandemic of Covid 19, when they were affected in their everyday productive and personal activities “and today, the members of AMEXME work shoulder to shoulder to make the economic reactivation posible”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor also congratulated Cecilia Ovalle Rios as she became the President of AMEXME and also her team at the directors body of AMEXME Chapter Leon, for the period 2021-2024.

AMEXME is an affiliate of Les Femmes Cchefs D`Enterprises Mondiales, a non profit and non political world organization, it gathers, develops and represents entrepreneur women with their identity, to achieve common economic, political and social goals. The organization promotes the participation in cultural, social, political and health events with a strong social commitment.
