Guanajuato consolidates its leadership in the footwear industry with the presentation of the 94th edition of SAPICA

The presentation of the 94th edition of SAPICA was held; it is the most important event in the footwear and leather goods industry in Latin America, which will take place from March 3 to 5 at Poliforum Leon.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, noted that SAPICA is a strategic space that promotes modernization, innovation and the comprehensive development of the industry, consolidating Guanajuato as the productive and creative heart of the leather-footwear sector in Mexico and the region.
With over 50 years of history, SAPICA brings together thousands of national and international visitors, buyers and exhibitors at each edition, and has positioned itself as a key platform for generating business, opening markets and strengthening the global positioning of companies in the sector.
In this edition, the Secretary of Economy will promote the competitiveness and commercial development of 85 economic units, of which more than 22% have the Marca Guanajuato Emblem, through exhibition spaces, business meetings and training actions such as SAPICA Learning, aimed at strengthening business capabilities.
The People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to support strategic productive sectors, promote local talent, and continue building a solid, competitive, and long-term economic environment for Guanajuato.
