Projects and programs are to be created for the benefit of the industry in Guanajuato in a deal by the two organisms
The agreement of two great institutions will bring close science and technology to meet the needs of the productive sector

In order to contribute to the development of projects, programs and other actions in academy, science and technology; the Chamber of Shoe Industry and the National Politechnic Institute signed a collaboration agreement.
The Center of Innovation
“It is an honor to witness this agreement between two great institutions that unite to work on science and technology to meet the needs of the productive sector, besides they will generate projects and concrete actions”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor noted that one of these actions is the creation of the Center of Innovation and Integration of Advanced Technologies –CIITA-, which will be a tool to develop market intelligence and knowledge on the requirements of consumers in the national and international market.
This way it will be posible to set up a platform and data base that will let companies promote new business models, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
A commited productive sector
The Governor praised the Chamber of Shoe Industry, because in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic it goes ahead, the companies that are part of it have made an effort to observe the health protocols and this way they have restarted the productive activity.
The Governor also noted the academic work of the IPN, a great ally in education in Guanajuato, and it is also a symbol of Mexico.
A different scenario
“We have in front of us the great challenge to push the economic reactivation, in a very much different scenario to the one we had when the year started, that is why the State Government has the Strategy United We Reactivate Guanajuato”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“This is the path Guanajuato has been promoting for some time. And we are doing it in a joint effort with the industrial sector and the education sector. This way we can achieve better results and keep building together the Greatness of Mexico”, said the Governor.

The President of CICEG said that this agreement is a result of the drive of the State Government, the private sector and the Schools to transform Guanajuato’s industry, with a vision of competitiveness, innovation and technology, where a greater internationalization is achieved with a benefit for the development of the State.
Local benefits
The General Director of IPN said that it is a great privilege to sign this agreement, because it will contribute to develop programs, projects and different actions in academic, scientific and technological areas of interest for all parts, that will help strengthen the shoe and leather industry in Guanajuato, a referral in Mexico.
