“I trust that the best for Celaya is yet to come, that together we will achieve the necessary actions to consolidate this region, because Celaya’s vocation is to be the Golden Gate of The Bajio,” said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo at the swearing-in of the Celaya Business Coordinating Council for the 2025-2026 term.

The State and Municipality are working on major projects to consolidate Latin America’s most important logistics hub. Therefore, initiatives have been implemented to connect the region with Canada, the United States, and South America, such as the interoceanic train, which involves the Canadian Pacific Kansas City and Ferromex railroad companies.

Furthermore, at the end of last year, the People’s Government inaugurated the vehicular underpass at the intersection of the Tecnologico Avenue and the Mexico-Japan Avenue, one of the most important projects carried out in recent years in Celaya, benefiting more than 340,000 residents and all those who travel every day through the municipality.
To ensure development and, in turn, water supply, the aqueduct that runs from the Solis Dam will provide water to the municipalities of the industrial corridor, including Celaya.

“It is a project we’ve been working on, which is already a reality, which has already been announced, and which is one of the projects this People’s Government has achieved, with dialogue, with openness, with committed work, and always putting the people and the primary needs of our people at the center,” the Governor emphasized.
“For those who believed it was impossible to overcome the issue of security, today we are demonstrating that when we work as a team, we can achieve good results. We are going further until we achieve a peaceful, calm, and peaceful life for our families, so that we all have the Guanajuato we want for our children,” said the Governor.

Governor Libia Dennise led the inauguration ceremony for the expansion of the facilities of the Criminal Oral Court in Celaya.
“It’s a pleasure to participate in the inauguration of these new facilities. These spaces are designed for greater functionality and also for better service to the public,” said Libia Dennise.
Libia recognized the Judiciary for these four new courtrooms and the various spaces being inaugurated today, which mark another step in strengthening its infrastructure.

The Governor emphasized that the new Accusatory Criminal Justice System has been operational in the State of Guanajuato for 14 years, since September 1, 2011. Guanajuato has always been ahead of its time. It was the first State in Mexico to implement and operate this new justice model.
“The rule of law is a strength of our State; we build it every day, society, the three branches of government, and the three levels of government,” said the Governor.
“That’s why it’s important to continue working so that justice and the rule of law continue to be the driving force behind Guanajuato,” said Libia Dennise.

“In Guanajuato, the Judiciary is respected and admired because it is an exemplary institution that has earned the trust of the people of Guanajuato, thanks to its impartiality and its commitment to justice and legality,” said Libia.
“You work daily to ensure that social coexistence is governed by the common good and equality before the law, in order to guarantee order and peace in society,” the Governor noted.
Magistrate Hector Tinajero Munoz, President of the Supreme Court of Justice and the State Judicial Council, said that these new facilities will provide better service to the public.

As part of this work tour of Celaya, Governor Libia Dennise attended the presentation of the keynote address “Digital Violence and its Legal Implications in Guanajuato,” given by Olimpia Coral Melo Cruz.
Olimpia explained what digital violence is, how it emotionally, socially, and legally affects victims, detailed the legal mechanisms for self-defense, and the role of institutions, universities, and governments in eradicating these attacks.

This lecture was given to students as part of the 67th anniversary of the Celaya Institute of Technology.
