CECyTE Guanajuato and Taigene Mexico join forces to promote Dual Education in students

The College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Guanajuato -CECyTE Guanajuato-, signed an agreement with the company Taigene Mexico, a leader in the automotive sector, to strengthen Dual Education of students.
With this agreement, the students of the Purisima del Rincon, Leon San Juan Bosco and San Francisco del Rincon schools will directly benefit focusing on the technical majors:
- Industrial Maintenance
- Electromechanics
- Maintenance of Automatic Systems of the CECyTE Guanajuato
At the facilities of the company of Taiwanese origin, Esther Angelica Medina Rivero, General Director of CECyTE Guanajuato, motivated the students to take Dual Education as an opportunity to reinforce their knowledge and acquire new skills in the labor market, to detect needs in the sector and create projects that provide solutions.
Kavin Chen, General Manager of Taigene, said that the company is in the process of expansion, which requires young Guanajuatenses with high knowledge to be leaders of processes with the highest technology.
Taigene Mexico is a company in the automotive sector, of Taiwanese origin. Its specialty is the manufacture of electric motors for steering systems, wipers, seats, fans, air pumps and air conditioning systems for brands such as GM, Ford, KIA and BMW.
The students who will carry out their dual training in the company will be part of the Electromobility program in the Standard for the Application of Basic Procedures in Electric Vehicles.
In addition to strengthening Dual Education in CECyTE Guanajuato students, this collaboration between the school and Taigene Mexico includes the participation in various outreach activities for the professional development and job placement of the students.
Among these activities are the creation of an employment exchange service for both students and graduates, the implementation of a professional internship program, training and evaluation of labor competencies, obtaining labor certifications, as well as the promotion and materialization of entrepreneurial projects.
These initiatives seek to provide CECyTE Guanajuato students with the necessary tools and opportunities for their comprehensive development and a successful transition to the labor world.
