Libia Dennise also led the opening and reception ceremony for the Cavalcade along the National Independence Route, which followed the route taken by Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, from the town of Dolores to the city of Guanajuato, to take the Alhondiga de Granaditas.
“May this liberating struggle we honor today inspire us more than ever to continue working, understanding that the efforts of a single man or woman are not enough; that when we stand together, when we work as a team, when we are united, great things happen,” said the Governor.
“This country doesn’t need divisions, this country doesn’t need confrontations, it doesn’t need polarizations. Today, it requires us to recognize ourselves as Mexicans, heirs to this great struggle for well-being. We must assume the historic role that falls to our generation. We must get to work, leave excuses behind, and build a better Mexico and a better Guanajuato for future generations,” said Libia Dennise in her message during the reception of the Cavalcade.
