The bullfighting art joins to celebrate 200 years of Greatness of Guanajuato with a weekend of bullfight activity in Leon, Salvatierra, San Miguel de Allende, Irapuato and Jalpa de Canovas at Purisima de Bustos

Jalpa de Canovas joins with the bullfighting celebrations to commemorate the 200 years of Guanajuato as a Free and Sovereign State, with a bullfight at the La Misericordia bullfighting ring.
Jalpa de Canovas, Magic Town in Purisima del Rincon receives the matadors Emiliano Gamero, Jose Funtanet and Tarik Othon in a bullfight that completes a weekend of bullfighting fiesta in Guanajuato.
The bullfighting celebrations are part of the festivities of the 200 Years of Greatness, an initiative of Guanajuato to enhance the traditions of the State.
On Saturday December 16 in Salvatierra matadors Guillermo Hermoso, Uriel Moreno “El Zapata” and Leo Valadez will perform with bulls of different breeders; also on Saturday in San Miguel de Allende Juan Pablo Sanchez, Diego Silvetti and Gines Marin perform with 6 bulls from Villa Carmela.
Then on Sunday December 17 in Irapuato, matadors Diego Silvetti, Octavio Garcia and Luis David will face bulls from Pozo Hondo and as the closing celebration in Jalpa de Canovas matadors Emiliano Gamero, Jose Funtanet and Tarik Othon will delight the public with 6 bulls from San Martin.
The representative of Espectaculos Taurinos MTY in Guanajuato, Juan Carlos Portugal said he is pleased with the support the bullfighting events have received in Guanajuato, and that is a reason to increase dates and events. The entrepreneur Alejandro Pelaez representing El Redondel said they are opening opportunities with these dates knowing that they will be a success and after that they will present new events.
